A visual field test involves testing the central and peripheral (or outermost) vision of the eye.

The test is carried out using the latest computerised visual field machine. New test techniques make this test quicker and easier than previously. Programmes are targeted specifically to look for early pre-glaucomatous fields.

The results are printed instantly and this produces a detailed map of your visual field. This provides us with important information about the retina and other structures of the visual pathway.
